If you've traveled with wireless headphones, chances are you’ve heard of AirFly—our award-winning wireless audio transmitter that lets you connect your Bluetooth headphones to in-flight entertainment systems, gym machines, gaming consoles, and more. Now, meet the newest member of the AirFly family: AirFly Pro 2.

So what’s new, and is it worth the upgrade? Let’s take a look.

A Familiar Favorite, Even Smarter

AirFly Pro 2 builds on everything you loved about the original AirFly Pro—seamless connectivity, compact design, and the ability to switch between Transmit (TX) and Receive (RX) modes. But with this latest generation, we’ve fine-tuned the experience to make it more intuitive, more powerful, and even better sounding.

🔧 Smarter, Simpler Controls

With AirFly Pro 2, we focused on making the device even easier to use—especially when you're on the go.

  • Dedicated Power Button
No more long presses or blinking light guesswork. Now you can turn your AirFly Pro 2 on and off with a single, confident press.
  • Pair 1 & Pair 2 Buttons
Want to share your movie with a travel partner? AirFly Pro 2 makes dual headphone pairing effortless with separate buttons for each connection.
  • Volume + Battery Controls
Control volume, mute/unmute, and check battery status—all without touching your phone or media device.
  • Bluetooth 5.3
Enjoy faster pairing, stronger connections, and better power efficiency with the latest Bluetooth standard.

🎧 Better Sound, Backed by High-Fidelity CODECs

The biggest upgrade? Sound quality.
AirFly Pro 2 supports advanced audio CODECs like aptX Adaptive and aptX-HD, delivering higher bitrates, richer detail, and improved clarity compared to the standard SBC codec used in older AirFly models.

If your headphones support aptX-HD, you’ll hear the difference immediately—deeper bass, crisp highs, and full-bodied audio that brings your favorite music or in-flight movies to life.

CODEC comparison:

  • AirFly Pro 2 supports: aptX-HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX, AAC, and SBC
  • AirFly Pro supports: aptX Low Latency, aptX, SBC
  • AirFly SE supports: SBC only
