BookArc is a vertical laptop stand designed to free up valuable desk space while using your laptop with an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Holding your laptop vertically creates a clean, space-saving desktop setup while keeping your computer within easy reach.

Have an older MacBook? Original BookArc uses model-specific silicone inserts to create a secure fit. Have a newer MacBook or another laptop? BookArc Flex offers a more versatile, insert-free design that automatically adjusts to fit a wider range of computers.

For BookArc, first make sure you have the correct silicone insert for your specific MacBook model, install it in the stand, then gently lower your closed MacBook into place. Connect your external monitor, keyboard, and mouse to create a space-saving desktop setup.

For BookArc Flex, no inserts or adjustments are needed. Simply lower your closed compatible laptop vertically into the stand; the flexible arcs use the weight of your laptop to gently secure it in place.

Both BookArc models feature a durable aluminum design made to complement your laptop and desktop setup. Original BookArc pairs its metal stand with a model-specific silicone insert that cushions and securely holds your MacBook, while BookArc Flex uses its flexible all-metal arc design to securely hold compatible laptops without additional inserts or adjustments.

BookArc is a legacy, insert-based design and is not intended for the newest MacBook models. Each insert was made around the dimensions and edge shape of specific MacBooks, so an insert should only be used with the models it was designed to fit. The newest available insert, Insert I, supports the 13-inch MacBook Air M2/M3 and 15-inch MacBook Air M2/M3; other inserts support select earlier MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models.

BookArc Flex is the more versatile choice for newer computers. It requires no inserts and is compatible with MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, MacBook Neo, and most other laptops up to 16 inches and 1 inch thick.

If you're using BookArc, check that you have the correct insert for your exact MacBook model. Even a few millimeters of difference can prevent a laptop from fitting properly or cause it to lean, and BookArc is not recommended for MacBooks with an added case or shell.

If your computer isn't listed for one of the available BookArc inserts, don't try to force it into the stand or substitute an insert made for another model. BookArc Flex is the better option for newer or unsupported laptops that fall within its compatibility specifications.

Keep your BookArc looking its best by gently wiping the aluminum with a soft, dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth. Keep the areas that contact your laptop clean and free of debris, and avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or excess moisture.

For original BookArc, periodically check that the silicone insert is properly seated in the stand and matches the MacBook you're using.
